Hi! My name is Amy and I'm an LGBTQIA+ Asian-Australian artist, writer, and aspiring creative producer based in Brisbane, Australia. After dabbling in a few production roles on some graduate films, my current passions lie in producing. I love all aspects of tracking, organisation, time management, and problem solving to facilitate strategic decision-making and efficient operational improvements in an animation production timeline.

When I'm drawing for animation, I specialise in 2D layouts, backgrounds, and prop design, but also love scriptwriting!

 

As a passionate storyteller, I aim to create compelling experimental works within the creative industries that can uplift diverse, authentic voices through stories that depict the nuances of humanity, complex relationships, and childhood nostalgia.

In 2023, I was the Producer for Cadence, a 2D animated graduate short film at Griffith University. Cadence depicts the heartfelt journey of a mother's qualms in accepting that her daughter must leave the nest and experience the turbulence that life brings. 

 

Aside from being a sentimental artist, I love travelling, photography (astro + film), reading, foraging, camping and playing table top games.
